| Story: | When I was a child, I went to bed every night and dreamt about becoming a speaker of English and wanted to live in England and I’ve always been interested in it all my life. By the time I was at the age of 15, I was trying to learn English in class in Slovakia and I was more excited by it and enjoyed it with my classmates as we can get on very well with them from other cultures in class. Also I have always been fascinated by writing and reading books and by their ability to encourage the expansion of our imaginations and understanding. I got gradually better at something. At college in Slovakia, I’ve always made good grades in English language and I was the best student in the class. It was very easy for me. After lessons, I got straight up home. I had tried to make sure learning was more difficult and I managed it. A year later I hoped to settle to live in the UK with my aunt and I flew out to England for the first time which was very exciting, new things. I went to the college with my aunt to enrol for a course in English language. |
