Title: Put Down the heat
Author: Jamie Jackson
Theme: hopes, dreams, achievements
Story:
Why do these young kids to gain wanna life the ill life make money the same
Another mother to bury her son, dying quick in vain
Killed over tennis shoe and peddling contraband in the drug game.

One gets killed no one remembers there name cold hearted killers
Don’t give a damn with no remorse or shame
Looking for a finger so is hip hop music they blame
Why are we killing each other like Abel did Kane
So they why I prey and I’m begging for change

To stop kids pulling guns and getting all blown away
When you choose that path is one step closer to the grave
We need an other million man march again help to get pistols and guns
From the streets and start begin to eliminate, departing them

Is not apart who the most gangster and has the hardest ends
Losing your friends when you grew up together since you were like 10
Get a career in a trade and have a car and be paying rent

I cry for the mums and dad that lose their sons
Fall victim to the end of a gun
I’m like Marvin Gaye what really going on
Is this the life we lead and what had it become

Put down the Heat is not about beef
Or taking it to the streets or selling 8/th or Keys
Put Down the Heat is crazy nowadays isn’t even safe to sleep
Put down the heat no one can do anything because the attitude is rob to eat
So clueless and so are Police

So now you know young star
Bad things are not money or cars
Do a bid on lock doing life behind bards
Left with bullet flesh for scars
We need a change of heart
The days are last, start again and erase the past

So now you know how these streets are
Unload the chamber and clip put down the heater
