Train to teach literacy, ESOL or numeracy at the IOE

Date posted: 18 September 2012

Are you teaching ESOL, Literacy or Numeracy/Mathematics to adults and young people and thinking about developing and updating your practice?

In these challenging times, why not invest your time in deepening your understanding of your own field including the challenges of Functional Skills.

Come and talk to the Institute of Education (IOE). The IOE offers Masters Degrees that can be tailored to fit your needs, including the Masters programme in Adult Literacy, Language and Numeracy which may interest you.

There are still some places on their Autumn modules, including the Postgraduate Certificate in ESOL Teaching (equivalent to the Additional Diploma in Teaching ESOL, at Masters level), and the module Policy, Research and Pedagogy in Adult Literacy, Language and Numeracy: International Perspectives.
