Developing adult teaching and learning in literacy, language and numeracy - exploring good practice events
The NRDC in conjunction with NIACE held 2 conferences to launch a new series of practitioner guides as well as new NRDC development guides
The events took place in Sheffield on the 17th September and London on the 24th September. The conferences were aimed directly people involved in the delivery of Skills for Life. Both conferences were based around 6 workshop topics and each workshop contained activities to get practitioners using the guides and demonstrating how they can be used in their classrooms. The six workshops were simply titled, ESOL, Reading, Writing, Numeracy, ICT and Maths4Life.
